Our Story
1904
Since 1904, Famers Lumber has been serving Rock Valley and the surrounding communities. From the beginning, we operated along the main street of Rock Valley, where we remained until 2005.
2005
In June of 2005, we began the construction of our new facility. This facility is where we are currently located. As a result of this building, we were able to accommodate our office displays, store room, and lumber storage needs effectively.
2005
The construction of our new facility was completed at the end of the summer of 2005. This was the first open house we held for the community to enjoy the new facility.
2022
Recent plans for an expansion were made in 2022. With this expansion, we were able to expand our showroom, store room, as well as add extra offices. Our expansion provided us with the opportunity to expand our tool selection and display more building products.
2023
In 2023, We completed our construction and added more employees to better serve our community. Currently, we have 14 employees on staff. We have nine office employees who can assist you with all of your building needs, such as floor plans, cabinet design, material selection, quoting, or simply picking up the tool or part you need for the job. All the materials you need at the job site are delivered by our five delivery guys! If there is anything we can assist you with, please do not hesitate to contact us or stop in!
2023
In celebration of the completion of our construction project. A ribbon cutting ceremony and an open house were held in October 2023 to allow the community to view our new facility. This was a great opportunity for us to show the community what we have added and what we now have to offer.
